FEELING THE GOODNESS OF BEING HELPED

Have you ever been to an airport you just arrived, and you realize that you have no time to reach your connection flight no matter how much you can run, your breath going at the extreme and your heart pounding like crazy?

Well, I was in that situation. It would be impossible to reach that airplane, and if I lost it the situation would become to be very complicated: calling people abroad telling them I won't be as I planned, calling my family to let them know the bad news, and trying with the air company to schedule a next flight that would imply to stay in a hotel for the rest of the day.

But --the Being in Itself-- never leaves us alone!-- there appeared one man of those who helps people carrying them on a wheelchair. I asked him if he will take me to my boarding gate, and he accepted.

He took me with celerity but not running. He got an elevator, ascended near a train in the airport, and in a matter of few minutes we were in front of the boarding gate.

He knew how to proceed with the door that allowed us to go through the very door of the plane, and there we said goodbye, with my enormous gratitude and of course, a tip for his invaluable help.

Sitting down in the plane, I recovered my breath and above all my calm, really miraculously I was there!

I needed to be helped, and I accepted that.

Blessed are those who help others. And also blessed are those who need to be helped and accept that instead of rejecting because of vanity or nonsensical arrogance.

Experiences that life gives us.
