MAKE ONESELF LOVED, LET YOURSELF TO BE LOVED

Usually, when we talk about a person who is loved by his/her family, friends, colleagues, fellow workers or students, we talk about someone with good character, usually smiling, who speaks softly, who thinks before saying something, who shows empathy for others, who is honest, sincere, reliable, who has sensitivity.

One who looks for understanding instead of confrontation, for peace instead of violence, for harmony instead of chaos, for order and respect instead of breaking the laws and go wild.

Therefore, we really make ourselves loved if we follow that general description.

Of course, everyone has his/her personal inheritance, is own DNA, character, way of being. It is impossible to expect that everyone could have all the characteristics of someone who is lovable, but in spite of our unavoidable things that define us as individuals, we sincerely can try to improve ourselves and be a better kind of person.

And quite sincerely, if we make ourselves loved for the way we deal with others, I assure you that it is really rewarding.

Now all that is said before refer to ourselves. What about the others?

Well, let's not reject the goodwill, the charm, the help, the company, the encouragement that others bring to us.

Let them do their part and feel happy in so doing. It's their turn, their input, what they want sincerely to offer to us.

Allow them to love us, and even do for us what we cannot do for ourselves alone. Because that is the way to build good relationships, true human relationships, valid ones.

In this balance between make ourselves loved, and let ourselves be loved rests the key for a happy life.
