LA FALTA DE VALORES: EL MAYOR DÉFICIT -- THE LACK OF VALUES: THE GREATEST DEFICIT

Pienso que atravesamos otro momento difícil de la humanidad. 

Hay un poderío de destrucción de todo el planeta como nunca se vivió antes.

Hay un domino de las masas a través del uso de la internet y los teléfonos inteligentes.

Hay un control de la gente con cámaras de televisión que vigilan por todos lados.

Y acaso  ¿hemos creado verdaderamente una civilización?, ¿es éste un mundo más feliz?

Por el contrario hemos perdido gradualmente la consideración del valor que implica cada ser humano.

Para el criminal, el hecho de que se trate de un ser humano no le detiene para matarlo.

Para el magnate empleador, no le importa pagar lo menos posible y ganar lo más posible, ampliando la brecha diferencial económico-social, y condenando a la pobreza a millones.

Para los trabajadores organizados, no les importa detener inclusive la asistencia de la salud, con tal de reivindicar sus “derechos” que terminan allí donde la vida debería estar como consideración primaria.

Ahora las mujeres se organizan, cobran fuerza, unas se vuelven absurdamente contra los hombres indiscriminadamente, y cometen hasta actos vandálicos, fruto de envenenamiento cerebral ideológico, o de querer mostrarse tan machos como los machos. Ridículo.

Otras defienden su derecho a existir, ante la violencia doméstica, el acoso y el abuso sexual, y los femicidios, neologismo innecesario porque hablar de homicidio es hablar del asesinato de un ser humano, hombre o mujer.

Así hasta el uso correcto del lenguaje aparece alterado.

Pero tras los acosos o abusos sexuales, emerge por un lado la actitud cínica de quienes siendo acusados pretenden que nunca hicieron lo que sus acusadoras les señalan, y la actitud hipócrita de quienes miran para otro lado, o condenan, pero ponen sus barbas en remojo, porque saben que ellos también han incurrido en faltas parecidas. 

Entonces, cuando faltan valores en la sociedad, cuando está tan permeada de maldad, de disimulo, de tapujes, de sordas conspiraciones, de intereses cruzados y entrelazados, y de retóricas con presunción de intelectualidad que sólo rinden pleitesía a una ideología deletérea y deteriorante, es evidente que estamos ante un gravísimo cuadro de carencia de valores –fundamentalmente éticos—  que mellan toda credibilidad.

Porque ni siquiera una causa justa es defendida con medios justos.

Es muy fácil no deliberar, considerar al otro como “el enemigo”, y no como alguien que piensa diferente, y acudir directamente al ataque, al improperio, al insulto. Es fácil olvidar que estamos tratando con un congénere.

Y mientras tanto, el espectro de una guerra que haga peligrar la propia estabilidad del planeta, ronda por sobre las cabezas de todos. 

O saltamos hacia el futuro, poblando el Espacio, con gente super-seleccionada, o reiteraremos en otros lados y multiplicaremos el desastre que hoy tenemos en nuestro planeta originario.

Es hora de un cambio profundo o sucumbiremos.

I think we are going through another difficult moment of humanity.

  

There is a power of destruction of the entire planet as never before lived.

 

There is a dominance of the masses through the use of the internet and smartphones.

There is a control of people with television cameras that watch everywhere.
And by any chance, have we really created a civilization? Is this a happier world?

On the contrary, we have gradually lost the consideration of the value that each human being implies.

For the criminal, the fact that someone is a human being does not stop him from killing.

For the employer magnate, he does not mind paying as little as possible and earning as much as possible, widening the economic-social differential gap, and condemning millions to poverty.

For organized workers, they do not mind stopping even health care, in order to claim their "rights" that end there where life should be a primary consideration.

Now women organize, gain strength, some become absurdly against men indiscriminately, and commit vandalism, the result of ideological brain poisoning, or wanting to be as macho as males. Ridiculous.

Others defend their right to exist, in the face of domestic violence, sexual harassment and abuse, and femicide, unnecessary neologism because to speak of homicide is to speak of the murder of a human being, man or woman.

Thus even the correct use of the language appears altered.

But after the harassment or sexual abuse, emerges on the one hand the cynical attitude of those who are accused and pretend they never did what their accusers tell them, and the hypocritical attitude of those who look the other way, or condemn, but put their beards in soaking, because they know that they have also incurred in similar faults. 

Then, when values ​​are lacking in society, when it is so permeated with malice, dissimulation, cover-ups, dull conspiracies, crossed and intertwined interests and rhetoric with presumption of intellectuality that only pays homage to a deleterious and deteriorating ideology, It is evident that we are facing a very serious lack of values ​​- fundamentally ethical - that undermine all credibility. Because even a just cause is not defended with just means.

It is very easy not to deliberate, to consider the other as "the enemy", and not as someone who thinks differently, and to go directly to attack, to expletive, to insult. It is easy to forget that we are dealing with a congener.

And meanwhile, the specter of a war that endangers the very stability of the planet, hovers over the heads of all.

Either we jump to the future, populating Space with super-selected people, or we will reiterate in other places and multiply the disaster that we have today in our original planet.

It is time for a profound change or we will succumb.
