FEELINGS
They are difficult to say and share, but more difficult
to afford.
I am talking about feelings, and particularly, feelings
of love.
Once you felt them, you know what and how they are.
No need to define.
They are just feelings, but they are strong, they
permeate all your being, and they stay with you.
Sometimes they keep silent, they do not manifest, it’s
like if they were disappeared.
But just listening to a song or seen some scenes in a
movie make them jump over you, embrace you all and surrender to their presence
and power.
Yes, they are there. They have never gone, because
finally, they are what you are, a sensible person for whom feelings belong to
you as well as your bones or your blood.
A few days ago a friend published in Facebook his
feelings after a relationship with a woman that ended with a goodbye at an
airport and never heard again from her. He shared his feelings in a wonderful
way, it was almost poetry. Well, the circumstances could vary but essentially
the feelings that are left are the same.
Probably there is no song that reflects more beautifully
those feelings that the one created in 1975 by the Brazilian musician Mauricio
Alberto Kaisermann, professionally known as Morris Albert.
A song that has been sung by multiple artists, and
interpreted by pianists as Ernesto Cortázar and Richard Clayderman.
For all it matters, here is “Feelings” by his author:
Milton W. Hourcade
