EL PODER DEL AMOR - THE POWER OF LOVE

"Hay Poder en el Amor", este fue el título del mensaje de boda pronunciado por el obispo Michael Curry, en Saint George Chapel, donde el príncipe Harry y Meghan Markle se casaron.

El obispo Curry transmitió un mensaje emotivo en el que el amor fue el centro de todo.

Una vez que regresó a los Estados Unidos, comentó con periodistas que sólo mirando a Harry y a Meghan cualquiera podía ver el amor que se tienen el uno al otro en la forma en que se miran.

Y eso es verdad. Cuando el amor verdadero une a una pareja, se miran de una manera especial, con deleite, felicidad, placer, disfrutando de estar juntos.

Sí, hay poder en el amor, para pensar y preocuparse por el otro antes que por uno mismo.

Hay poder en el amor cuando en el bienestar de la otra persona encontramos nuestro propio bienestar.

El amor es el signo distintivo de ser humano.

Nos perpetuamos como especie por amor.

El amor es una fuerza creativa tremenda, capaz de transformar vidas, sociedades y el mundo entero.

Sólo con amor, somos capaces de superar cualquier distancia, cualquier diferencia y construir unidad.

El mundo está desesperado por amor. Cuando el odio, la violencia, la venganza, el crimen y las guerras destruyen las estructuras y el marco de referencia de las sociedades, más que nunca necesitamos aprender a amarnos a nosotros mismos y amar a nuestros semejantes.

Y esto comienza con una pareja, como Harry y Meghan.

Una pareja donde el romance florece y es notorio.

Porque la transparencia, la sinceridad, el afecto, el compromiso, todo eso es necesario y es bueno, pero el amor también hace que se sientan maravillas en el alma, inspira poemas y deja escapar un suspiro de nostalgia.Y esta es una parte intrínseca de lo que es el amor.

THE POWER OF LOVE

"There is Power in Love". This was the title of the wedding speech pronounced by Bishop Michael Curry, at Saint George Chapel where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got married.

Bishop Curry delivered an emotional message where love was the center of it.

Once he returned to the United States he commented with journalists that just looking at Harry and Meghan anybody could see the love they have to each other in the way they look at each other.

And that is true. When real love unites a couple, they look at each other in a special way, with delight, with happiness, with pleasure, enjoying being together. 

Yes, there is power in love, to think and care for the other before than oneself.

There is power in love when in the wellbeing of the other person we find our own wellbeing.

Love is the distinctive sign of being human.

We perpetuate ourselves as species because of love.

Love is a tremendous creative force, capable of transforming lives, societies and the whole World.

Only with love, we are capable to overcome any distance, any difference, and build togetherness.

The World is desperate for love. When hate, violence, revenge, crime, and wars destroy the structures and framework of societies, more than ever we need to learn to love ourselves and love our fellow humans.

And this starts with a couple, like Harry and Meghan.

A couple where romance flourishes and is notorious. 

Because transparency, sincerity, affection, engagement, all of that is needed and is good, but love also makes feel wonders in the soul, it inspires poems and makes a sigh of nostalgia. And this is an intrinsic part of what love is.
