But –at least from time to time-- we need to do so. We need to look at an invisible mirror that reflects what we are doing, who we are, what is right and what is wrong, and correct the course.
Sometimes we are indeed in a conflicting situation, we are not able to see everything clear, we are troubled by things that happened and in the middle of that fog, we take decisions or initiatives that at the moment could appear good, and at the end, we realize we committed a big mistake.
Not always that is the situation.
There are also hundreds of situations in which we have taken the right decisions, precise movements and a secure course of events.
The most important thing is to look at ourselves not with indulgence but with honesty.
I think it is the only way to see more clearly the picture.
But all in all, we come to terms with ourselves and others in the sense that we are all humans, and therefore, defective. This is our condition, we can’t get rid of it. What we can do is to improve it, trying to avoid the consequences of the imperfections inherent in us, and –with the help of people who love us-- go on, enjoying a simple life, and all the good things it has reserved to us.
Love, eat, drink, sing, kiss, travel, relax, sleep well, and feel the beauty of being human.
