A DIFFERENT BOOK ON UFOs

Since the Kenneth Arnold case (June 24, 1947) the UFO subject has acquired enormous proportions.

It has been discussed in the Congress of the United States of America many times, and at the international level in the United Nations.

While there is a permanent production of fictional photos, videos and so-called "documentaries" that appeal to the imagination and fantasy of the people, there are honest and serious investigators and scholars who dedicate a good part of their life to research, analyze and come to valid conclusions on the cases submitted to their consideration or on those they look at for their own initerest.

In July 2018 I took the initiative to make a survey to know better what these particular people think, how they deal with the UFO subject, how their thoughts have evolved along the time, etc.

The results were really rewarding.

Thanks to this survey to which answered 22 people of 11 countries, anyone can have now a better idea about who are the Ufologists, how they work, realize the coincidences and differences among them, as well as two main approaches, one that refers strictly to the physical presence of some phenomenon and the other that centers its attention on the individual, the eventual witness, and the relationship with the general culture and society.

Summing up, we can talk about one physical and one anthropological, social and cultural consideration of the subject.

These are the people surveyed and this book presents their answers to eight key questions. The ideas which they stand for and the methodology they apply, all of that is exposed.

"Aliens, ships, and hoaxes" are topics dealt directly or indirectly by the researchers surveyed.

Besides translating some answers from Spanish into English, and carefully made a revision of the material sent by each researcher, I made an Analysis of what they said, comparing the answers given for the same question, and a Final Evaluation, thinking about which could be the best strategy to educate the general public about the UFO subject, and how to make that scientists be more involved with this issue and through their initiatives presented as projects of investigation, obtain funds from organizations that are able to provide them, although limited.

Once all this was accomplished, as Editor I considered that the potential readers interested in UFOs would be pleased to know three outstanding cases that remain unexplained until today. Therefore, they were added to the main text of the book.

For all of that, I invite you to read the book, either in its electronic version already available at Amazon, or later in a paperback edition, also at Amazon.

And what a Christmas present it could be!
