THIS TIME OF THE YEAR

It is true that these days of Christmas and the approaching New Year are special to exchange salutations and good wishes.

But it is also true that not everybody does that and that one thing is almost to repeat salutations that are like a  "cliché"  and another thing is to send clear expressions of affection, respect, and even admiration.

I feel very touched by those expressions because, among many salutations, I have received them too.

That is the way one can realize what you mean for others, what is the image you project and how much they appreciate you.

On the other hand, the amount of people that send me their salutation is another thing that really deserves my special recognition, paired to the fact that many of the texts are coming from different countries: the USA, Ecuador, Perú, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay (of course), Spain, Italy, France.

This moment of the year, these Traditional Holidays certainly allows to openly manifest and reveal all the good that we have inside, and they are happy circumstances to share that with family members, dear friends and acquaintances as well.

And it is proper and good that it happens, not just as a mere tradition, but as strong feelings to others, and from them to us, because this is a reciprocal process.

That is the beauty of this time of the year.

Nevertheless, it shouldn’t be confined to just a few days in the calendar, but it has to be extended throughout the 365 days ahead.

And if there emerge problems and difficult situations, don’t lose your good spirit, don't lose your capability of dialog, understanding, empathy, forgiveness, reconciliation. Don't dehumanize yourself!
